Domestic Violence in the Hood?







Recently, Domestic Violence has Gotten A new Poster Child? But is it a real problem in the Black Community? I know some say it is never a excuse to hit a woman but Then why are so many women getting beaten? The stats say a woman has to get 7 times before they leave

Domestic violence is defined by the law, but even more so by the recipient. As a man, I would never in a conscious and sober state hit a woman. That, to most is domestic violence. There are some, whom I've even dated,in which that is a way of life. You are actually respected less for not taking a swing at em here and there. Sounds bad huh? It's illegal. But I think that 7 number stems from the fact that the recipient does not consider, or define it as it DV like we do.
